Technical session with Gazprom Neft

For five days from October 9 to 13, a technical session was held in Tyumen to update the standard technical requirements for shut-off valves of oil and gas production facilities in the perimeter of the Gazprom Neft Group of Companies. These days, both general requirements for materials and components were discussed, as well as specific, additional requirements for wedge and gate valves, ball valves and valves for various purposes. On the last day, issues related to documentation, testing and conformity assessment were considered. All leading Russian manufacturers of pipeline fittings took part. On behalf of RTMT LLC, the director of the Separate Kurgan Division, I.P. Yenbayev, and D.V. Voronov, Deputy Chief Engineer, participated in the discussion. Of course, there is still a difficult way to coordinate and approve the requirements under discussion, but the beginning of a constructive dialogue between the producers of ZRA and Gazprom Neft has already been laid.
