RTKZ20 steel shut-off valves
Shut-off valves of the RTK 320 type of manual control are used to adjust the pressure in pipelines with liquid, gaseous media. The main difference from a number of valves of the RTK 310 type is an increased internal cross–section, which reduces the resistance of the working medium.
The RTK 320 valve is a new development of the RTMT company with improved technical and operational characteristics.
Main parameters of shut-off valves
The fittings are made of low-alloy structural steel grade 09G2S with the presence of carbon in the alloy no more than 0.09%. Due to the high mechanical strength and temperature stability of the material, the operating parameters of the products are increased:
- The temperature range of the conducted substances is set according to the tolerances of these steel grades: from -60 to +425 0C;
- resistance to chemically aggressive environments allows the use of RTK 320 valves for the transportation and storage of petroleum products;
- the products are manufactured in three earthquake–resistant versions: C0 – non–earthquake-resistant model, C - earthquake-resistant, PS - valve of increased seismic resistance;
- it is permissible to install in the pipeline network in both vertical, horizontal and inclined positions;
- the spindle is sealed with seals made of thermally expanded graphite;
- the valve is supplied with a standard anti-corrosion coating, an additional protective layer can be applied at the request of the customer.
Acceptable types of connection to the pipeline: for welding, flange type and with a counter flange.
Advantages of Steel shut-off valve
- The fittings are made of three pass-through sections DN 15-40, can withstand medium pressure up to 6.3 MPa, belongs to the tightness class "A" according to GOST 95442015.
- The shutter of the product is sealed according to the "metal on metal" type. It is capable of maintaining tightness for a long time even when operating in difficult conditions.
- Another structural feature of the shut-off valves is the complete absence of welded joints, which significantly improves the strength of the valve.
- The low coefficient of friction in the running pair is provided by bronze and stainless steel joints, which reduces manual efforts when opening/closing the valve.
- The running nut is removed from the conduction band of the product – this helps to increase the period of trouble-free operation, improves access to the reinforcement elements during repair.
